Life has taken an interesting turn of events
So I started hanging out with someone who I went to highschool with. He was a year behind me in school. We have decided to try dating. It's been an interesting experience to have someone open a door for me, make dinner, and just be there. I'm starting to feel very comfortable with him and he makes me smile every time I hear from him or see from him. Life is sure a challenge though trying to balance workign 2 full days with kids, recovery, and now Bry. I love it though.

Wow haven't posted in almost 2 months
Sorry it's been extremely busy around my house with dr appts and other such stuff. We recently found out my liver isn't working correctly and so now the next step is to go and see a liver specialist. I'm ok with what ever is discovered wrong with my liver because I know that with God's help I will get through all of this. Malachi (Shannon's little guy celebrated his 1st birthday and I got to be there for it). It's been an amazing experience to watch him achieve all his firsts and to be included as an aunt. Life is truly a gift and I have learned this so much during the past 5 months. I never thought I would get through all that I have gotten through with all the complications. There still are days that I feel like this isn't worth it but those days are when I'm reminded why I do what I am doing. I am getting ready to go on vacation with my friends in 4 months to disney. Can't wait!

1 year achieved again
So last Oct 31st I had to restart my soberity date and today marks my 1 year anniversary! It's been a very rough year but so full of blessings. I'm so grateful that I have in my life what I have today and don't want to change my soberity for anything. I hope that this next year bring big and better things.

Just realized I haven't updated this in awhile
So it's been a crazy busy time since my last post. I've been working, went to Utah for a wedding/vacation, came home to learn my sister was moving, went on a vacation to Sandusky, got a tatoo, threw my sister a going away party which I didn't really get to attend, had emergency surgery, and have had a lot of complications. Inspite of all of this going on I have kept my soberity which is pretty awesome. I have 11 months now and am scheduled to give my first lead at the end of Oct. I am loving life and even though I have been having a lot of difficulties since surgery am so very grateful for all that God has blessed me with because I would be back using if it weren't for me giving my life over to him. I'm grateful also for my family because I have been recovering from surgery at their house and am grateful for all the many trips they made to Cleveland while I was in the hospital and for all my follow up appts. I still am having complications but things are improving very slowly.

Wow summer has just really flown by
Well since daycamp ended I started babysitting for someone I went to school with. I am watching her 3, 4, 10, and 11 year old. I basically will be working 2 weeks a month. I completed week one last week and I love the kids. I ended up on friday with a small bowel obstruction so I've been sick and took today off. I'll watch the kids tomorrow and then am off til after vacation. Hope everyone's summer is going good.

Been a busy summer so far
Well just ended the annual daycamp I have been co-leading for 3 summers. I loved it. Camp this year was a lot of fun because I got to share the experience with my little sister. I have never worked with her on that front and it was awesome. The kids we had were an awesome group of kids that kept us hopping. We played a lot of games with capture the flag and dodgeball being number one games this summer. We walked to the police station, the cemetary, and pikes station for breakfast. We also did a lot of other fun stuff. I'm so grateful that I am given this oppurtunity ever summer.
